Why This Business Exists

Started because too many gutters were getting "cleaned" from the ground.

There's a pattern in this county: a homeowner pays for a cleaning in October, and by February there's ice damming over the front door and a stain spreading across the ceiling. The gutters were never actually cleared, someone ran a blower down the front runs, skipped the back of the house, never touched the downspouts, and left.

Gutter Renew exists to be the other option. Every run gets cleared by hand. Every downspout gets flushed until water runs out the bottom. Everything gets photographed, so you can see the work instead of taking someone's word for it. It's a slower way to do the job and it's why we don't run four crews.

The cleaning work grew out of the same honesty. After enough cleanings where we photographed a pulled hanger or a leaking seam and pointed it out, fixing it on the same visit stopped feeling like an upsell and started feeling like the right thing to do.

What A Visit Looks Like

From the text that morning to the photos that afternoon

You shouldn't have to wonder whether anyone showed up or what they actually did.

  1. 01
    A text before we come

A heads-up the day before and again when we're on the way. If weather moves you, you hear it from us first, not from an empty driveway.

  2. 02
    We work the whole house

Front and back, dormers, the awkward run over the deck. Ladders on standoffs so nothing rests on the gutter itself.

  3. 03
We leave it cleaner than we found it

Debris hauled away, beds and hardscape rinsed, ladder feet checked so there's nothing dug into the lawn.

  4. 04
    You get the photos

Before and after on every elevation, plus anything we'd keep an eye on next season. No invoice surprises, problems get a call first.

Ask Every Contractor
Three questions worth asking before anyone climbs.
Do you carry general liability?, If not, damage to your home is your claim, not theirs.
Who is actually doing the work, and are they covered?, Ask whether the crew on the ladder carries their own insurance.
Will you send the certificates?, A real contractor says yes without hesitating.

The paperwork nobody asks about until something goes wrong

If someone is on a ladder at your house uninsured, that's your homeowner's policy holding the bag. Ask every contractor for certificates, including us.

General liability

Carried year-round. Certificate sent on request, same day you ask.

Every crew carries their own

General liability is carried year-round. Certificates are sent on request the same day you ask.
