Privacy Policy
We collect the minimum we need to quote and schedule gutter work, we don't sell it, and we don't send marketing you didn't ask for. The plain-language version is above; the specifics are below.

This policy describes how GutterRenewCT Gutter Cleaning Service, a d/b/a of HomeRenew LLC ("we," "us"), handles personal information for our gutter cleaning services in Fairfield County, Connecticut. It applies to this website, our quote form, and the calls and texts we exchange with customers.
What we collect
When you submit the quote form or contact us, we collect what you give us:
Your name, phone number, and email address.
Street address and town, number of stories, the service you need, and anything you tell us about the property in the message field.
Whether you checked the SMS consent box, plus the date and time you submitted the form. We keep this because we are required to be able to prove consent.
Standard server and analytics data such as IP address, browser type, and the pages you viewed.
We do not collect payment card numbers on this website, and we do not ask for Social Security numbers, financial account details, or any other sensitive category of personal data.
How we use it
We use your information to do the work you asked us about, and for very little else:
- To prepare your quote, including reviewing publicly available aerial imagery of your roofline
- To contact you about that quote, schedule the work, and let you know when we're on the way
- To send you the before-and-after photos and findings from your job
- To invoice you and keep the records our accountant and the State of Connecticut require
- To remind you when your property is due for its next seasonal cleaning, if you asked to be on a recurring schedule
- To keep this website working and secure
Calls and text messages
If you check the SMS consent box on our form, you agree to receive text messages from us about your quote, scheduling, and job updates. Message frequency varies with your job. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for assistance.
Consent to receive texts is not a condition of getting a quote or hiring us — leave the box unchecked and we'll call or email instead.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties.
Mobile information collected for the purpose of sending text messages, including your phone number and SMS consent, is never sold or rented.
Job photos
We photograph every job from the roof and send those photos to you. We may also use job photos on this website or on social media to show our work — but only cropped to the gutter, roofline, or detail in question, never with your address, house number, or any identifying view of your property, and never with your name. If you'd rather we didn't use photos of your job at all, tell us and we won't.
Who we share with
We do not sell your personal information, and we never have. We share it only with the service providers we need to run the business — for example the company that hosts this website, the service that delivers our form submissions and text messages, and our accounting software — and only so they can perform that function for us.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, if we need to respond to a legal claim, or to protect someone's safety.
Cookies and analytics
This site uses basic analytics to understand which pages people visit and which towns our traffic comes from, so we know where to focus. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies in their settings; the site works either way. We do not use cookies to build advertising profiles.
How long we keep it
Quote requests that don't turn into jobs are kept for about two years, since homeowners often come back a season or two later. Records for completed work — including job photos, invoices, and warranty documentation — are kept as long as we may need them to honor a warranty and to satisfy tax and recordkeeping requirements.
Your rights
Under the Connecticut Data Privacy Act, Connecticut residents may ask us to confirm what personal data we hold about them, provide a copy of it, correct it, or delete it, and may opt out of any sale or targeted advertising — though as noted above, we don't do either.
To make a request, contact us and say what you'd like. We'll verify who you are and respond within the time the law allows. There's no charge, and asking won't affect the service you get from us.
Children
Our services are sold to property owners, and this site isn't directed at children. We don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.
Changes and contact
If we change this policy we'll update the date at the top of the page. If you have a question about any of it, or want to make a privacy request, get in touch — a person reads every message.
